I’ve published two short stories under the name Samuel Hayne, both for a now defunct website for amateur horror writers: “The Leatherman”, tells the story of a small time thief who must battle for his soul against the revenant of a 70’s porn star; “Morgansyr”, answers the question of what might happen when the spirit who haunts your house was once a formidable witch? I am greatly inspired by the town of my birth, Salem, Massachusetts. Authors that are inspirations include Dean Koontz, Anne Rice, HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Algernon Blackwood, T.S. Eliot and Ambrose Bierce. I am an active member of several paranormal societies throughout the United States. And believe it or not, I was born on Halloween.
