Passage
By Camellia Rains
I sit beneath the cool rays of the moonlight humbled and week by the serenity of it's light but when I look up, I don't see a cool while glow, but your eyes, like black pools filled with desire staring relentlessly, mercilessly at me.
I feel warmth caress me and I smile.
I remember knowing you and the scar you left on me.
The tear not only at the soft smooth flesh on my belly, but the one in my heart that aches constantly with both pain and pleasure, desire and repulsion, love and hate.
All these feelings for you... one person.
When I wake with the first mornings rays, you are my first thought.
When I lay my head down to let the night consume me... your image is the last to run through my mind.
Sometimes if I sit real quietly and concentrate, I feel you with me... the warmth of your touch, the softness of your hair and the heat from your breath.
Even your scent fills my senses with a flood of emotions I can't contain.
You have given me more that I ever wanted.
You allowed me to, without the use of words, which can lose meaning after repeated use, express what I felt in my heart for you just by being me.
I miss how your actions were slow and deliberant, precise if you will.
My days are strange and my nights solemn.
